    Washington D.C.

The Morton piece, 2009(semi permanent installation) wooden coffee stir sticks woven together and held by tension Private Residence Washington DC.

The Morton Piece is a woven stir stick installation sited in a domestic setting to accompany a print that was purchased to hang in the same room. The piece is positioned so that it works in harmony with the window and the space provided. The opening in the matrix of stir sticks is in reference to elements of the Norman prints and to openings found within previous installations in this cycle of work.
