Yesterday I had some exciting visits throughout the day. First I spoke with several groups of students from a local area school who asked really great questions. One kid waited patiently until the end of our session together then asked me in a deadly serious tone “Do you have Facebook?”, kids today. Next Brooke arrived from the states, and then I got word that we were headed to Los Cabos’ only radio station Cabomil. It was so much fun chatting with the broadcasters during the english language news that they invited us back to a longer interview today. Tomorrow is the opening and I am really looking forward to meeting some more of the locals and getting a chance to chat with people while I am not on top of a ladder with a fistful of sticks.
This is one of the groups of kids posing with the artist.
Another group is riveted by my stories as a student covers for my lack of spanish. It was really an pleasant surprise to have the students pop by while I was working.
The Final tweeks and then I just need to clean up and take some pictures before the opening.
