my last night in my ox-bow studio


well i got really busy in the last couple of days of my ox-bow residency so here are the final farewell shots in my studio there. I am now in Sumter south carolina working on the next project. I am at the accessibility residency as one of the installation artists. Since I only have 13 days to make a piece i am putting all my eggs into one basket and i just going to weave stir sticks. I hope i can build the piece i am picturing, but i won’t really know until i get a little further along. i started today around noon and will work all day everyday between now and the 27th, and whatever it ends up like is what it will be. Also in a wonderful bit of luck the host family that i am staying with are a bunch of musicians, and they have a drumset in their living room, and they love to play with people, so i am looking forward to some drumming breaks at some point during my time here.
